Schedule & Call
Dermatology residents take pager call for a month at a time for two months per year (do not need to be in hospital).
Residents receive a total of 20 days of paid time off which can be used for vacation, personal needs, and holidays. Residents are also allowed a total of 5 days of paid time for conference attendance and other educational needs.
A typical weekly schedule for a resident is as follows:
